The aim of the project is to reduce the energy needs for cooling drinks at the point of sale (POS). This will help in saving money and power consumption, which will eventually help the environment.

NRG has created four temperature-controlled distribution vehicles that will have integrated Frigoblock inverter-driven refrigeration systems. These electric vehicles will offer eco-friendly refrigerated transport services across the U.K.

The Frigoblock refrigeration solution uses an inverter to get the power supply directly from the vehicle’s batteries without affecting the vehicle’s operational duty time, performance, or range.
